This year we have decided to nominate the Brisbane Royal as a Point Score show as there have been significant changes to how the breed judging day is managed. You now only have to have your dog on the grounds for half of the day and the public does not have direct access to the dog benching area.
We have nominated 2 shows per month from April onwards.
For each nominated show there is only one Champ show that will count towards the point score. If there are 2 champ shows on the one day that is nominated the night shows will count for the point score. Where both shows run in the same time period, the show that starts first will be the nominated point score show. These shows will be confirmed closer to the show date when details are available.
How the Point Score System Works
There are 15 point score shows in 2015 and the top 8 scores for each dog will be tallied to give a final result (a maximum of 3 shows away from Durack can be included). You must remain to exhibit for all classes including CLASS IN GROUP and CLASS IN SHOW. If you choose not to stay you will forfeit your pointscore points.
***PLEASE NOTE***
In order for your wins to be included in your pointscore tally, you need to be a financial member prior to commencement of the show.
Sashes are awarded for Bullmastiff of the Year, Runner-up Bullmastiff of the Year, Opposite Bullmastiff of the Year and Puppy of the Year.
Puppy of the Year
Is the Best Puppy from the combined classes of Baby, Minor and Puppy. The 3 classes will be totalled together for an overall result.

Sponsorship of PointScores
If you are interested in helping the club out with sponsorship of the pointscore for trophies and sashes, please contact the club treasurer. Also if you know a business who might be interested in sponsoring the pointscore that is even better, we need approximately $300.00 to break even from the sponsorship and they get an advert in the newsletter and show catalogue in return.
