Championship Show

Saturday 12th June 2010

Judge - Mr Barry Marion

We were very pleased to be asked to judge your show as we considered it a great privilege. I was very happy with my winners as usual there was a great variation in type. In particular the eye colour was a concern with some, also a few top lines were soft, but the overall standard was good. We would like to thank the committee and the all the entrants for an excellent entry and the opportunity to judge our wonderful breed.

As we are in England writing this, we would like to add that after visiting a Bullmastiff Specialty Show over here, we feel our Bullmastiffs in Australia are definitely equal if not better that we have so far seen over here (in our opinion). So keep up the good work everyone!

Kind Regards

Barry and Kath Marion

Minor Puppy Dog 1/1

Canon’s KANGALA ENTOURAGE

As all minor puppies there is a ‘wait and see’ prospect, as a lot of development is to come, overall a nice type. Ear set a little high, nice dark eye, lacks front at the moment.

Puppy Dog 1/1

Harrison’s TRUGUARDIAN OPTIMUS PRIME

Good Head piece, dark eye. Every inch a puppy still. Front to develop yet, top line ok, a little long in the toes. Should improve with age.

Junior Dog 4/5

First Place

Hodgett’s CH SATURNBROOK DINAH MIGHT

Quite impressive for a junior dog, strong head, good bite, good front and moved well. Would have liked a better arch of the neck but overall good type, good size and deserved junior in show.

Nice red dog, not as strong in the head as my first place. Stop a little lacking, but overall quite nice and should still mature a bit more.

Third Place

Ellis’s BULAVISTA BOSTON RED SOX

Good type. A little wet in the head for me and straight in the shoulder. Good top line, good coat, still to mature.

Fourth Place

Reasonable headed dog. Needs to mature more. Moved well with a level top line.
